Joint trainings
Title of the project: Introducing and educating the beauties of table tennis for young children from the beginner level - BETTALE
Project number: 101049904
Summary:
Joint trainings were conducted during the project, with two held in: Ada, Serbia (30th December 2022, 13th April 2023) and two in Sopron, Hungary (10th September 2022, 10th June 2023 - Pancake Cup). These trainings included joint tournaments for the kids, and in the final event, the Pancake Cup, parents also participated. The outcomes and details of these events were documented.
Sopron1 (10th September 2022):
Following the initial tournament in Ada, the kids had already become familiar with the rules of table tennis and the competitive atmosphere. During this joint training, the level of play was even more captivating, and the improvement in the children's skills was evident compared to the first joint training session. They demonstrated remarkable progress and showcased their enhanced abilities in an engaging and exciting manner.
The venue of the training was Sopron and this time we showed kids another type of competition how players can play at professional level.

Ada1 (30th December 2022):
During the two-day joint training in Ada, the kids enthusiastically participated in a series of general table tennis exercises meticulously crafted by the BETTALE professional team. The aim was to create a program that captivates children's interest, promotes skill exchange beyond table tennis, and encourages independent play. On the second day, a small tournament was organized to provide the kids with a firsthand experience of a regular tournament. It was a delightful opportunity for them to embrace the competitive aspect of the sport within a supportive and encouraging environment.
In the competition, 24 children participated primarily from Sopron and Ada, but there were also participants from neighboring table tennis clubs in Ada. The winners received recognition and commendation for their achievements.
Ada2 (13 th April 2023)
During the two-day joint training, kids were engaged in a variety of enjoyable training sessions led by three coaches (two from Ada and one from Sopron). The primary goal of these sessions was to inspire and encourage the kids to continue playing table tennis even after the project's completion. Throughout the two days, the children were not only involved in sports activities but also took part in drawing sessions, which helped to showcase their creative side.

Additionally, the coaches and parents worked together to provide entertainment for the kids, organizing a range of fun activities and games that complemented the table tennis training. These efforts helped to create a positive and supportive environment where the children could develop their skills, enjoy themselves, and foster a lifelong love for the sport of table tennis.

Sopron 2 – final meeting, joint training and tournament (10 June 2023)
The project's closure event was held in conjunction with the Palacsinta Cup (pancake cup), which garnered significant interest and participation. This event was more than just a competition for the children; it also involved the parents, who had a highly enjoyable experience playing alongside their kids. Following the conclusion of the mini-tournament, awards were presented to all participants as a token of appreciation for their efforts and enthusiasm. The event culminated in a delightful lunch where everyone in attendance enjoyed a feast, including pancakes, a dish that was prepared collectively by the children and their parents. This collaborative effort not only showcased the culinary skills of the attendees but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants. The event served as a fitting conclusion to the project, reflecting its core values of teamwork, inclusivity, and fostering a love for table tennis across all age groups.
