This meeting was the first project meeting (Kick-off), which was held in Sopron on this day. The greeting was given by Tibor Toth.
After the welcome, Tibor Tóth asked the consortium partners to briefly introduce themselves and present their organizations. After the introduction, it became clear that the participants of the project will easily find a common language.
Robert Dudas, the project manager, took the floor.
The meeting was held in 2 languages, as the participants were from 2 countries. The two languages were Hungarian and Serbian. The material of the PPT was basically prepared in English, in some places pictures and figures were inserted for easier understanding.
The start of the project was a bit difficult for all partners because the registration and contract signing process encountered difficulties in the system introduced by the EU. This was particularly difficult for OS Novak and Bánfalvi kindergarten, who had no previous experience with any EU online interface.
BETTALE started on the first of July and will last until June 30, 2023.
We receive 70% of the total amount included in the budget in advance, the remaining 30% when we have fulfilled the requirements of the application and this is also approved by the EU committee. The payment of the remaining 30% is expected after June 30, 2023.
Gábor Stummel, the financial manager of Turris SE, said that the advances have been disbursed. Each partner received 70% of their budget.
The relevant documentation was attached to the project folder at the headquarters of Turrris SE.
The tasks for each participant were reviewed in detail. This was done in Hungarian and Serbian because it was easier to negotiate.
Magdolna Sipocz: The parents of the children included in the tender must be asked to give a statement of consent that the children can participate in the preparation of the educational material. There is primarily an ethical reason for this.
Róbert Dudás: these declarations must be obtained as soon as possible, preferably during September (until September 30)
Magdolna Sipocz: the first parents' meeting will be held in September - this will be one of the topics - the declarations of consent will be made in September.
Branko Anusic: These declarations will also be procured from the Serbian elementary school as soon as possible.
Tibor Toth: The plan for the professional material must be developed by the end of September. We undertook 10 hours of material, after its development we will consult with the Canadian DR Professional Table Tennis Academy regarding applicability and usability.
Each of the 10-hour materials will include: warm-up exercises without and with a ball, video recording with subtitled audio, and a description of all of these will be prepared in a word document.
Róbert Dudás: It is important to keep in mind that the target group is children aged 5-8 years, whose attention is very difficult to hold for 1 hour, so every task must be interesting and attention-grabbing.
